Stay Tuned for Dual Memoir

My husband and I looked good as a couple. Double income. No kids. A gold Mercedes. On a trip to Kowloon we spent $8,000 in five days. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Oh Shit! What am I doing? A sickening feeling. My soul looking at me, “We're not on track.” I was on course for starting over.

Chapter Excerpts

I woke up and exclaimed, “I have ambition!” It was fricking stunning. I never had a sense of drive. My only goal was to marry. Here I was, in a cottage in Honolulu, my whole body vibrating with ambition. I mean FULL UP with it.

It happened in a heartbeat. I got the call. “Daddy’s not breathing.” I called my husband and reminded him that if anything happened to Jeb we were legal guardians to the children.  At the scene I asked the EMT, “How’s he doing?” He said, “We did everything we could.” My life was forever changed.
